BettyJo I'm loving everything that you're doing and I'm going to follow along with it for the entire months of July of August and see what happens. I have to loose an additional 10 pounds and I'm super determined. I think I'll walk instead of dance but your suggestions are phenomenal.

If anyone has other suggestions for the group please let us know and posts pictures (before and after) to inspire the group.

I'm determine to live healthy, eat right, and exercise. I'm journaling. I write everything down, I mean everything. I have a weekly food and activity record that I keep. I dance everyday.I makeup my own steps/dances.(The Lord has giving me a dance ministry. I now dance under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, to gospel and praise and worship music) I live in the mirror. I have full length mirrors in every room. I move all the time (KIM: keep it moving.) I drink 64oz of water everyday. I eat all day long, small portions of healthy foods. I don't eat red meat, white flour, salt or sugar. I'm health conscious. I like looking and feeling good.

@ Candie - Praying the best for you as you reach your goals. I'm attempting to loose 10 punds by August 13th. I just returned from Israel and all I can say is WHEW! I was so out of shape and we climbed a different mountain everyday. I was so embarassed how out of shape I was. I've been walking everyday - 2 miles - cutting out the bread, no fried foods, etc. Pray for me because I will reach my goal.

I just decided tomorrow is today. I was thinking how so many other people and things come before my health. But if I lose my health I will no longer be able to help those people or do those things. No more celebrating others health goals and ingnoring my owns. I will be my own shero and achieve my weight goals. I must confess while writing this I do have a cheesecake left in the "fridge"!! But today I had salad baked fish with thyme and orgeno my fav mix steamed veges and a fresh side salad. 64oz of water. I walked 2 miles while my girls rode their bikes. They have always invited me to come outside and play I would just watch them from the patio today I joined. A Small start equals a big finish!!! The bible says do not dispise small beginings. See more of my starts and in my book My Precious Wedding gift click on my link http://www.amazon.com/Precious-Wedding-Gift-Candie-Zenon/dp/1599790912/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1243478245&sr=1-1

I've cut out the red meat altogether, chicken is also extremely limited. I'm trying to become more consistent with my four times a week 2 mile walk.

A WORD OF INSPIRATION

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, God's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence.... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.' Something good will happen to you today; but first you must believe it in order to receive it.
